About The Event
This election is to fill one of the three judicial seats in the 8th District Court which serves Taos, Colfax, and Union Counties.
Until earlier in 2019 the seat was held by Judge Sarah Backus and was vacant until Governor Lujan Grisham made a temporary appointment in April 2019. The judge elected will serve from Raton.
